Delivery and Returns
Your order will be processed and delivered within 28 days of receipt of your full payment. However, we aim to to process and dispatch your order within 3-5 working days of receipt of your full payment.
We have the right to decline or cancel any order prior to dispatch. In the event of us cancelling your order we will issue you with a full refund, including delivery costs, in respect of that order.
We may use the following delivery service providers: Royal Mail, Hermes, DPD and Collect+ and Yodel, depending on the size/weight of your order and availability of services. Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery following the dispatch of your order. Dispatch and delivery times are approximate and we cannot be held liable for late deliveries due to circumstances beyond our control.
We cannot be held responsible if your delivery is lost, stolen or left somewhere else other than the delivery address you provided when placing your order. We cannot be held responsible if the delivery address you provided when placing your order is inaccurate. In the unlikely event that your delivery is lost in transportation, please contact Once I was...as soon possible so that we may investigate this with the delivery service provider.
We aim to use packaging which is made from recyclable and sustainable material, including cardboard boxes and newspaper, which in turn can be recycled.
Returns and Refunds
We hope that you are fully satisfied with the items you have purchased from us. However, if you change your mind about your order please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Goods may be returned to us within 30 days of receiving your order, provided that all the goods are in an original and unused condition. This applies to online purchases or items purchased from our stall at one of the shopping events we have attended. Please note that a valid proof of purchase is required to accept and process all returns. We do not refund postage costs incurred by you to return goods due to a change of mind.
You must return the goods back to us at your own cost. We will only refund return postage costs if the items were delivered in error or were faulty/damaged upon delivery. We advise that you use a trustworthy delivery service provider to return your goods and a proof of postage must be obtained. We will not be held responsible for damage of returned goods caused by inadequate packaging. We reserve the right to make a charge not above our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods, or return the goods at our expense.
We take the utmost care in processing and packaging your order. If any goods are faulty/damaged upon delivery please contact us as soon as possible, and within 3 days of receipt of the goods. It may be necessary to ask you to provide photographs of the damaged packaging/goods so that we can decide on the best course of action. If you wish to be reimbursed for the postage costs of returning a faulty/damaged item this must be approved by us in advance of the goods being returned, and the costs being incurred by you.
Returns can only be made to the original credit/debit card used to purchase your goods.
We will be happy to offer an exchange to the value of a item purchased, provided the item is returned to us in its original and unused condition, and with a valid proof of purchase. We will only refund return postage costs if the items were delivered in error or were faulty/damaged upon delivery.
The terms of this Delivery and Returns policy do not affect your statutory rights.
